This course is developed from our previous course on Natural Gas Technology and provides more emphasis on Management and Safety issues of the field. It is presented in cooperation with GL Noble Denton (Loughborough) and it is approved by the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers and can therefore be included as part of a CPD scheme.It provides skills and competencies required for effective operation in the global gas business, relating to economics and commercial factors, management and planning issues, engineering and technical aspects of gas industry. It is aimed at practising engineers, scientists and managers who are involved in production, distribution, transmission, utilization and management of natural gas

Scope of Course:
It is of basic value to those involved in gas flow and network analysis;experiment and measurements; gas utilisation and business and project management
The course objective is to provide a fundamental view of practice and theory in natural gas technology, with a broad overview of the key processes in the industry, and highlighting management and safety issues.
This course has been designed to meet the needs of engineers and managers in understanding the production, distribution, and transmission of natural gas from practical and theoretical viewpoints
The course aims to help develop a professional specialist attitude towards matters such as the design, reliability and maintenance of natural gas engineering equipment, product quality and value, marketing and of course safety.
The course material will be presented by lectures and demonstrations, with adequate time for group discussions.
